vanya: I've a tendency to invent magical beliefs! I'm an artist/poet/critic/songwriting recluse... I studied at Wayne State University, The College for Creative Studies in Detroit, the University of Washington, and The Evergreen State College. I am working on several projects right now: the first is Panapsida, which lays out a distinctly visual epistemology panning from everything arbiform, hourglass and toroid shaped (conceptually and physically). The background for this was submitted as five papers for an Independent Study Contract on consciousness at The Evergreen State College; the paradigms in it propose to define the foundation of my call for continued serious discussion re visual literacy as fundamental across all disciplines in k12 content presentation and should not remain stagnant as a discrete "Art" subject. I'm also writing a novel entitled, Neuroboros, and teaching myself notation/orchestration via computer software. These past several years I've worked with elementary school children teaching them socialization skills; & drove a school bus (not my chosen career but I found it to be a rewarding endeavor). Currently I’m semi-retired.
