More than Sanders' "political revolution" — what IS required is an entirely new and pervasive cultural mindset, a revised ethical framework founded on the survival of all life on earth, of humanity thinking as life itself and not just as one species.
Regardless, there will be deep suffering for all families and communities, especially those that greatly depend upon polluting, unsustainable industries, and their facilitating agencies — whether we all choose rationally to scrap our predatory hoarding and plunder, or whether the upending comes violently as mass revolts, the suffering has already commenced.
